Why is it important to choose an acid-free storage?

All paperboard products contain acid because paperboard is produced from trees which absorb chemicals from the environment and is therefore highly acidic by nature. I really don't know how many years I have used your boxes. I have one of the big chests that still works. Would love more of them. I think it has 6 drawers. One really big and two medium size and also 3 smaller ones I think. Your boxes hold up very well. So much better than the boxes the ornaments come in. Love how I can organize all the ornaments in different colored boxes. I can't say enough about how great they are. Love the shredded paper and also the covers for them.
